A four-year-old girl was crushed to death by an out-of-control car in Tamil Nadu. The girl’s father was filling petrol in a bunk when the car crushed the girl, who died before help could arrive.
A four-year-old girl was crushed to death in Tamil Nadu by an out-of-control car while her father was filling fuel in a petrol bunk. The incident took place at Ambasamudram in Tirunelveli on Sunday, February 27. The entire incident was recorded on CCTV cameras.
Raja was a construction worker and was travelling on his two wheeler with his wife and his two daughters to a nearby town.
While Raja was filling petrol in a fuel station near Rani Women’s School, an out of control car hit Raja’s two-wheeler from behind, crushing his four-year-old daughter Aparna and badly injuring her.
Onlookers pulled Raja from underneath the wheel, and before help could arrive, Aparna unfortunately died.
Chilling CCTV footage showed a car, moving very quickly in reverse, hitting Raja and his daughter, while his wife and their other child narrowly escaped.
Ambasamudram police have initiated an investigation.
