OUCH! Desi Lydic Tells Trump How 'Everyone' Around Him Really Feels

"The Daily Show" correspondent hits the former president with a blunt reality check.
“Daily Show” correspondent Desi Lydic said Donald Trump had to sit through court and listen on Thursday as his own attorney read “all the nastiest things” that Michael Cohen has said about him over the years.
Trump attorney Todd Blanche read quotes from Cohen calling Trump a “boorish cartoon misogynist,” “a Cheeto-dusted cartoon villain,” and “dictator douchebag,” all as the former president looked on.
“Damn!” said Lydic, who is hosting this week. “Trump is just sitting there while his own lawyer roasts him.”
Trump’s attorneys were trying to make the case that Cohen can’t be trusted because of how much he hates Trump.
Lydic isn’t sure that argument will fly.
Charges under adultery laws have been rare and convictions even rarer, with some states moving to repeal such laws in recent years.
Police say Jeffrey Moynihan, Jr., 56, convinced the 74-year-old woman to wire money to bank accounts he controlled.
The union-friendly Oregon Republican just lost her reelection bid for the House earlier this month.
The dual announcements Friday evening showed how Trump was fleshing out the financial side of his new administration.
The former “View” co-host said she felt she couldn’t support Trump or Harris — and wrote in a surprising choice instead.
Across the country, the trans community is grappling with questions about what survival looks like after Trump’s victory.

The president-elect had been set for sentencing next week.
