
Oppo Reno 7 Z 5G launched with Dual Orbit Lights, Snapdragon 695 SoC

Oppo has added a new member to its existing Reno 7 series. The company already sells three phones in this lineup and it has now unveiled the Oppo Reno 7 Z 5G. The series already includes the regular model, a Pro variant, and a Reno 7 SE 5G model. In India, the brand is only offering the Oppo Reno 7 and its Pro version. The price of the Reno 7 series starts in India from Rs 28,999.

The key highlights of the Reno 7 Z 5G are an AMOLED screen, a Snapdragon 695 chipset, a 64-megapixel triple rear camera setup, and more.
Oppo has also placed cool RGB lights on the back of the smartphone. The lights are placed around the cameras. The company is calling this feature Dual Orbit Lights, which will light up when the device receives notifications or on charging.
As for the specifications, the new Oppo Reno 7 series smartphone features a 4,500mAh battery. The company has given support for 33W fast charging, which Oppo claims can top up the battery in about 63 minutes.
Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset. It is backed by up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Oppo has also given the option to virtually expand the RAM by up to 5GB. This handset also has a dedicated microSD card slot, so one will be able to expand the storage by up to 1TB.
The device ships with the older Android 11 OS, instead of the latest Android 12. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well for additional security. Apart from this, it comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB-Type C port, and support for NFC. The Oppo Reno 7 Z 5G is also splash resistant. The price and availability details are yet to be revealed.
