
Ooredoo CEO meets with QFA President

The meeting, which took place at QFA’s headquarters, was held to promote the upcoming Amir Cup final, where Ooredoo has been announced as the official telecommunications partner.
Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Qatar Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulla al-Thani met with Qatar Football Association (QFA) President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmad al-Thani. The meeting, which took place at QFA’s headquarters, was held to promote the upcoming Amir Cup final, where Ooredoo has been announced as the official telecommunications partner. The Amir Cup is one of the biggest football tournaments in the country, with 16 sides participating in the tournament. The final is scheduled to take place at the Khalifa International Stadium on March 18. Sheikh Mohamed said: “In a big year for football in our region, it is great to be working with the Qatar Football Association, making the relationship between our two organisations even stronger. It indicates the vitality of Ooredoo as a local and regional sports sponsor, not least for the pending Amir Cup final which we are proud to support as an increasingly exciting fixture in Qatar’s sporting calendar.
