The Mubadara 2022 Awards ceremony marks the culmination of this year of the Injaz Company Programme, the most popular international entrepreneurship programme. First organised in Doha in 2008, the annual competition saw student-led enterprises compete for five coveted awards in the field of entrepreneurship, with one award sponsored by Ooredoo. The awards ceremony was held recently at Multaqa Centre in Education City in the presence of Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulla al-Thani, CEO at Ooredoo Qatar, who presented the Ooredoo Award to the winners. Ooredoo was also represented at the judges’ committee by Moza Khalid al-Muhannadi – Director CSR, Sponsorship & Media at Ooredoo, who helped to decide which of the student projects deserved the additional recognition of this prestigious award. Al-Muhannadi said: “Just as Injaz Qatar partners with the local business community, corporate volunteers and educators to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in the global economy, Gold Sponsor Ooredoo helps to support this thoughtful and thorough approach to workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy. Our congratulations go out to all the student nominees and winners for their efforts.” Injaz Qatar is a member of Junior Achievement Worldwide, the world’s largest organisation dedicated to assisting students worldwide to prepare for working life, through experiential, hands-on programmes.
