One militant killed, another surrenders after calling family during encounter with security forces in J&K's Shopian

Sahil Ahmad Dar, an LeT militant who was trapped in the encounter, called his family on his own, police said, adding that the family reached the spot and later the militant surrendered along with Ak-56 rifle. 

A militant was killed while another surrendered during an encounter with security forces in Hajipora area of Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district on Friday, officials said. The militant who surrendered identified himself as Sahil Ahmad Dar, son of Mohammad Ramzan of Beminipora.
