One civilian shot dead, non-local vendor injured in J&K in separate terror attacks

The civilian died of his injuries at a local hospital while the vendor, from Bihar, is being treated at a district hospital.
Terrorists today shot dead a civilian and injured a non-local labourer in Budgan and Pulwama districts in two separate incidents in Jammu and Kashmir.
The civilian, identified as Tajamul Mohiudin Rather, was shot at near his home in Budgam’s Gotpora. He was rushed to the hospital where he died of his injuries.
“Around 7:20 pm, terrorists fired at and injured a civilian, Tajamul Mohiuddin Rather, near his residence in Gothpora area of Budgam in central Kashmir,” news agency PTI reported, quoting a police official.

In the second incident, a non-local vendor from Bihar, identified as Bisujeet Kumar, was injured after terrorists fired at him in Pulwama. He has been admitted to the Pulwama hospital for treatment, officials said.
On March 6, a civilian was killed while 24 others, including a policeman, were injured by terrorists who hurled a grenade at the security forces in the busy Hari Singh High Street market in Srinagar, the police said. Last year, 11 people were killed in a spate of attacks on civilians, sparking fear across the Valley. Of them, five were from other states.
