James Anderosn threw his weight behind Ollie Robinson who has been suspended by England and Wales Cricket Board over his historical racist and sexist tweets that resurfaced on social media during his Test debut at the Lord's.
Senior pacer James Anderson said on Tuesday that England team has unanimously accepted Ollie Robinson's apology over his historical racist and sexist tweets that led to his suspension from the senior national team after his Test debut earlier this month at Lord's. Ollie Robinson was suspended right after the end of his Test debut - the first Test of a 2-match series between England and New Zealand pending the results of a disciplinary investigation into his posts. Robinson tendered an unconditional public apology during the Test match after his tweets from 2012-13 resurfaced on social media. Anderson said Robinson's apology has been accepted and said the 27-year-old has grown and matured from his teenage days.More Related News
