The video shows Dolph Volker's experience as a volunteer at the cheetah breeding centre.
A video of a man cuddling with two cheetahs while sleeping is doing the rounds of the internet. The clip shows a man identified as Dolph Volker petting two cheetahs. Shot at a cheetah breeding center in Bloemfontein, South Africa, the video is bound to make your jaw drop.
Originally shared in 2019, the video shows Volker's experience as a volunteer at the cheetah breeding centre. Two cheetahs named Juno and Gabriel were seen in the clip. "
Do cheetahs prefer cold concrete or warm blankets and companionship? These captive cheetahs were bred and born at cheetah breeding centers in South Africa; one at the Cheetah Experience. All are quite tame as they are groomed for the breeding program, so when they have cubs, they can be monitored closely. An accepting and approachable mother allows that. There is a plan to release one of these cheetahs into a protected wildlife in the near future. I was granted special permission to spend my nights with the three because I had watched them grow up and built up a relationship with them during past volunteering," he mentioned in the caption.

The video has been viewed thousands of times. However, in January 2021, a rumour spread on social media that the video was shot in Rajasthan, India.
According to a fact-check report by Reuters, the video was shot in South Africa and the cheetahs were cared for and brought up by Volker. That's why every time he went back to the spot, the cheetahs never failed to recognise and cuddle him while sleeping.
