A picture of Lata Mangeshkar seeking the blessing of Goddess Saraswati has gone viral.
Melody queen Lata Mangeshkar passed away on February 6 at the age of 92. She was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital on January 8 after she tested positive for Covid-19, and was under treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) over the past couple of weeks.
After the news of her demise spread across social media platforms, netizens didn’t hold back while expressing their condolences for the “Nightingale of India”. With thousands of tributes pouring on Twitter, an old picture of Mangeshkar in front of Devi Saraswati is now going viral.

The picture shared on Twitter by Uttar Pradesh ADG Navniet Sekera shows the legendary singer taking blessings from a garlanded picture of the goddess of music. “End of an era,” Sekera captioned the post.
