Polls suggest a clear majority is emerging to unseat Prime Minister Erna Solberg’s centre-right government.
Norwegians went to the polls on Monday in a parliamentary election where the “Red-Green” opposition looks ahead, potentially influencing the fate of oil activities in the largest producer in Western Europe. Polling stations opened at 9am (07:00 GMT) and the first estimates based on advance votes were to be released when voting ends at 9pm (19:00 GMT). According to opinion polls, a clear majority is emerging to unseat Prime Minister Erna Solberg’s centre-right government, which has ruled the Nordic country for the last eight years.More Related News
