In Ohio's crowded Republican Senate primary, former President Trump looms large.
Trump has yet to endorse in the race to succeed retiring GOP Sen. Rob Portman, leaving the field scrambling to earn Trump's approval ahead of the May 3 primary. Including businessman Mike Gibbons, former Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel, former Ohio Republican Party Chairwoman Jane Timken and JD Vance.
"We'd love to have the president's endorsement," Vance said. "I think it would be really decisive, actually, in this race."
