
Offline classes suspended in Bengaluru schools for students of classes 6 to 9

The government has suspended offline classes for students of classes 6 to 9 in all the schools in Bengaluru due to the rise in Covid-19 cases.
The government of Karnataka has taken the decision to suspend the offline classes for students of classes 6 to 9 in the Bengaluru urban district with immediate effect. This decision has been made by the government due to the rise in Covid-19 cases in the area. The offline classes for standard 10, 1st, and 2nd PUC is being conducted as per the schedule in Bengaluru. At present, the Vidyagama programme is ongoing for classes 6 and 7 in the city and offline classes from class 8 onwards are being conducted as per schedule. Though the classes of students in standard 6 to 9 have been suspended, the decision regarding their annual exams is still pending. Education Minister S Suresh Kumar said, “The department said that it will make a decision shortly on how the students for grades 6-9 will be assessed for this academic year shortly."More Related News
