Official: Swift passport procedures at airport for returning passengers

The Airport Passport Department has said that the procedures for returning passengers are easy and take only 20 to 35 minutes from the time of the passenger’s arrival to exit from the airport.

“These procedures differ from one traveller to another, as well as according to peak times when there are a large number of travellers arriving at the same time,” said Captain Mohammad Mubarak Al Buainain, an officer at the Airport Passport Department. Speaking to Qatar Radio, he said the department increases the number of passport counters and e-gates during peak hours in order to facilitate and speed up travel procedures.
