Doha: The Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Justice on Monday opened an office for Non-Qatari real estate ownership and use in Lusail city in order to provide real estate ownership and use servicers through one window for investors and dealers. A similar office was opened earlier in The Pearl-Qatar.
The office provides all the requirements for the sale and purchase of real estate, residential units and offices in the areas covered by Cabinet Resolution No. 28 of 2020, determining the areas in which non-Qataris may own and benefit from real estate, and the terms, conditions, benefits and procedures for their ownership and use of them. The office enables the beneficiaries to obtain the title deed in less than an hour. It also provides, through an automated system created by the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Justice, the issuance of residency upon completion of the ownership or procedures, in case the property of the owner or the beneficiary is in the category whose value is not less than QR 730,000 (equivalent to $200,000), so that the owner of the property from this category obtains a residence permit for themselves and their family without a sponsor for the duration of their ownership of the property.More Related News
