Sheikha Iman bint Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Thani’s Off He Goes, helmed by Tomas Lukasek, clinched the Late Yousef Al Romaihi Cup during the 40th Race Meeting at Al Rayyan Park yesterday. The Julian Smarttrained seven-year-old gelding claimed a half length win in the 3200m Class 2 run to bag feature victory. Alban Elie De Mieulletrained Duke of Dundee, ridden by Ronan Thomas, was second while Quelindo, with Ivan Rossi in the saddle, finished third.
Meanwhile, Jassim Bin Ali Al Attiyah’s US Cliff completed a double in a Thoroughbred Plate as Soufiane Saadi rode the Jassim Ghazali-trained three-year-old colt to a half length victory in the 2000m Class 2 run for 3YOs. Also yesterday, Khalifa Bin Sheail Al Kuwari’s Bottom Bay won Thoroughbred Handicap (75- 95). Khalid Al Balushi rode the Zuhair Mohsen-trained 4YO gelding to a half length win in the 2000m Class 3 run.More Related News
