As the world continues to suffer at the hands of Covid-19, successive waves of infections, new mutations and deteriorating economies have only made matters worse. The Covid situation is, however, gradually improving in India, with the country reporting around 1.3 lakh cases on Tuesday (June 1). The peak of the second wave was seen on May 6, where the number of cases crossed the four lakh mark.
