A youth in Bhubaneswar was allegedly duped to the tune of Rs 1 lakh while trying to sell his cow on an online marketplace on March 11.

A youth in Bhubaneswar was allegedly duped to the tune of Rs 1 lakh while trying to sell his cow on an online marketplace on March 11. The victim, identified as Debasis Sahoo, lost Rs 1 lakh from his bank account while trying to sell his cow on an online marketplace. Sahoo, lodged a complaint in this regard at Bharatpur police station in the outskirts of Bhubaneswar on March 12. As per the complaint, Sahoo had put up an ad on the digital marketplace- Krishify (mobile app meant for trading in farm equipment and products), to sell his cow on March 11. He received a call at around 8 pm the same day from an unknown mobile number.
