Odisha school schedule for Classes 1 to 12 has been released by the state government following the Covid-19 guidelines.
Odisha school timetable for Classes 1 to 12 has been released by the state government. The School and Mass Education Department has issued an order stating that Classes 9 to 12 will be conducted from 10 am to 4 pm, while Classes 1 to 8 will be conducted from 9 am to 1 pm.
Midday Meal (MDM) programme will continue in the schools. However, no cooked meal will be given to the students and dry rations will be distributed. Chief Secretary SC Mohapatra had on Thursday announced that schools will reopen in two phases Classes 8 to 12 on February 7 and primary section to Class 7 on February 14 -- with strict adherence to Covid-19 protocols.
Odisha colleges and universities will reopen from February 7 onwards. As the guidelines were released by the central government on Thursday, the state government has asked the authorities to initiate these measures ahead of the reopening of hostels and other residential facilities for students from February 6.
