An RPF personnel rescued a passenger to safety when he slipped and fell from a moving train at the Cuttack railway station.
An alert Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable saved a man who slipped and fell from a moving train on the platform at Cuttack Railway Station in Odisha on Thursday.
The constable, Safid Khan, saved the passenger in the nick of time as he was about to get trapped between a moving train and the platform.
The passenger was travelling from Bihar to Cuttack and had suddenly woken up from his sleep after being informed by his fellow passenger that the train is leaving Cuttack station, where he was supposed to get down.
The passenger immediately rushed towards the gate to de-board the train.
The whole incident was recorded on CCTV installed at the railway station. It can be seen in the video that as the train had already started off and was catching up the speed, the passenger jumped from the moving train. It was then his foot got stuck in between the platform and the stairs of the train.
