Odisha: Rourkela Assistant Collector under vigilance scanner in Disproportionate Assets case

Based on reliable inputs, the vigilance officers carried out raids at five places comprising four teams of anti-corruption wing officials from Rourkela, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda and Deogarh.
Continuing its relentless fight against corruption, vigilance sleuths on Tuesday conducted simultaneous raids on the office, residence and other properties of Manoranjan Nayak, an Assistant Collector in Rourkela, in a Disproportionate Assets (DA) case.
Separate teams of the anti-corruption wing comprising Additional SP, four DSPs, five inspectors and other staff, conducted raid on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Sundargarh.

- A residential building (double storyed) vide MIG-II-27 at Phase-III, Chhend, Kalinga Vihar, Rourkela
- Residential building (Triple storyed) vide MIG-II-264 at Phase-III, Chhend, Kalinga Vihar, Rourkela
- Residential house of a cousin located at Dhanurjayapur, near Kalinga Nagar, Jajpur Road, Dist- Jajpur and Office chamber at Rourkela
- 3 BHK Flat vide No.215, Block-E, Acropolis Apartment in Bhubaneswar’s Gothapatna belonging to Nayak were among the places which have been raided by the vigilance teams, said Director Vigilance Yashwant K Jethwa to India Today.
