The Odisha government has decided to hike remuneration of contractual employees by 50 per cent and thereafter refer to them as 'initial employees'.
The Odisha government on Monday approved the proposal to increase the remuneration of all contractual government employees by 50 per cent and henceforth refer to them as 'initial appointees'.
The decision was taken at a state Cabinet meeting helmed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Law Minister Pratap Jena said.
