Flash floods due to heavy rainfall have washed away a temporary bridge in Odisha's Gajapati district.

Flash floods triggered by incessant rain in Odisha washed away a temporary bridge connecting Balipanka village with Chandiput main road and disrupted the communication between six Gram Panchayats and the district headquarters of Gajapati. As the bridge collapsed during the time of school examinations in Odisha, students will have to travel extra kilometres to reach the block headquarters.
