Foreign policy analyst Fareed Zakaria has questioned India’s passive approach in dealing with the crisis in its backyard and asked what role India played. Speaking to India Today TV, Fareed Zakaria said, “India does not have a forward-looking foreign policy that is designed to have some control over its external environment, to shape that environment and make it conducive for its national interests.”
