NYPD releases sketch of Central Park robbery suspect

Police released a sketch of a suspect wanted in two Central Park gunpoint robberies in less than a week.

In the first stickup last Friday morning, a 55-year-old man was robbed of $1,000 while seated on a bench by the exit at 72nd Street and Fifth Avenue, police said. The male suspect had first asked the victim for $5 as he entered the park near the 72nd Street and Central Park West entrance, according to police.
