An NYPD housing police officer in the Bronx died of COVID-19 on Sunday, the city’s largest police union wrote on Twitter.
“One year into this pandemic, COVID has claimed the life of another PBA member, PO Angel M. Santiago of @NYPDPSA7,” the Police Benevolent Association said. “The sacrifice never ends.” Former Chief of Department Terence Monahan, now a mayoral advisor on the COVID recovery, said his thoughts were with the officer’s family.More Related News
