India Today
NSUI has opposed the decision of the central government to conduct Class 12 board exams while the second wave of pandemic is on the rise.
The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) has recently issued a statement opposing the decision of the central government to conduct the Class 12 board exams for this academic session, while students are constantly pushing for its cancellation. In the high-level meeting conducted between the state education secretaries and union ministers, it was decided that the Class 12 board exams would not be cancelled. This decision has attracted a lot of criticism from students, parents, and opposition parties. In the meeting conducted on May 23, the central government suggested that the Class 12 board exam pattern could be changed to include only objective questions, or the students should be given the option to appear in the exams of main subjects only.More Related News
