Now Rahul Bhatt says Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor wedding venue shifted to Taj

Alia Bhatt's half brother Rahul Bhatt clarified that Ranbir Kapoor and her wedding hasn't been postponed. He, however, added that the wedding venue has been shifted to Taj Colaba, Mumbai.

Earlier, Alia's half brother Rahu Bhatt told AajTak that the couple has decided to change the date of their wedding, although it will happen before the 20th of this month. Now, in a latest interview, Rahul clarified that the wedding date hasn't changed, although the couple has shifted the wedding venue to Taj Colaba, Mumbai.
There is much confusion around the exact date of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's wedding. While IndiaToday.in has independently learnt from sources that the wedding will happen on April 15, Rahul Bhatt, Alia's half brother, told AajTak in an exclusive that the couple has decided to change their wedding date. Now, in an exclusive interview with HT, Rahul said that the date hasn't been changed, but the wedding venue has.
"Yes, the wedding is happening this week and has not been postponed. All I can say is that it is a matter of time till you see an official release from their side. I can’t tell you the dates, but I can assure you it will happen before the 20th of April," Rahul told HT.
Rahul also mentioned in the same interview that Alia and Ranbir have decided to change the wedding venue. "The wedding venue might shift to Taj Hotel, Colaba for practical reasons. And that is to avoid paparazzi and maintain secrecy. The protocols and arrangements are being decided as we talk," Rahul said.
As per our sources, Alia and Ranbir are getting hitched on April 15. However, earlier, Rahul Bhatt told AajTak that the couple has decided to change the date of their wedding. Rahul said, "The wedding is happening, it is known to all. But there is no wedding on April 13 or 14. That is a sure thing. Actually, the dates earlier were the same, but after the information was leaked to the media, the dates were changed. Everything has been changed because there's a lot of pressure. I give my word that there's no wedding on April 13 or 14. As far as I know, there will be an announcement regarding the date soon." He also clarified that the wedding would happen by April 20.
As per the information we have, Alia and Ranbir will host two wedding reception parties at Taj Colaba, Mumbai, for their industry friends on April 16 and 17, respectively. As far as the wedding is concerned, it is happening at Ranbir's Bandra house, Vastu, while the pre-wedding festivities are happening at RK House in Chembur, Mumbai.
Rahul's revelation makes one wonder if the wedding has also been shifted to Taj Colaba. As of now, there's no official confirmation from the bride or the groom, but we're keeping a close eye.
