The latest teaser reveals the way the company will sell its upcoming Nothing Phone (1). The way is different but not something we have seen for the first time.
The much-anticipated Nothing Phone (1) is set to launch next month. Ahead of the official launch, a lot has been revealed about the Nothing Phone (1) design and the features it will pack. The latest teaser reveals the way the company will sell its upcoming phone. The way is different but not something we have seen for the first time.
Nothing Phone (1) will be sold through an invite-only system just like OnePlus used to sell its phone initially. This means that not everyone will be available to get their hands on the upcoming Nothing Phone. The latest teaser shows that the Nothing Phone (1) will be initially available to people who “deserve it most”.
For OnePlus, the invite-only strategy worked well and time will show if the same will work for the London-based smartphone manufacturer. Though the system makes it difficult for consumers to get their hands on products, it does build a lot of hype.
Nothing has already been revealed about the design of the Phone (1) and it offers a form factor similar to the iPhone 12. Not just that, the rear camera positioning on Nothing Phone (1) is also kind of similar to the iPhone 12.
What’s different is the design. It is surely unique and goes in line with the design of the Nothing ear (1). It offers a see-through design, but that doesn’t mean that you will be able to see the internals of the phone. What is even more interesting is that the Phone (1) will come with notification LEDs that will also let you know who is calling, alert you when you get a new notification, show the charging status, and more.
A recently posted first-look video of the Phone (1) revealed that the phone will let you pair individual contacts with ringtones, each with a Glyph pattern. It will also allow you to change the pattern for individual contact. The notification LEDs will also show the charging status, so, you do not need to turn on the screen every time to check the battery percentage.
Notably, once the Nothing Phone (1) is released, it will be up for grabs on Flipkart. The sale date, price, and other details will be revealed once the phone goes official on July 12.
