Not Pakistan, don't need permit: Suvendu Adhikari as cops stop Tiranga Yatra

BJP's Suvendu Adhikari said that he did not require a permit to carry out a Tiranga Yatra in the state as he was not in Pakistan after police stopped his rally in Nandigram.
Suvendu Adhikari, Leader of the Opposition in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, on Friday said that there was no need to take any permission for Tiranga Yatra in the state as he was not in Pakistan.
“I'm not standing in Islamabad, Pakistan. We don't need to take any permission for the Tiranga yatra. This Yatra doesn't have any political slogans, there's no need to be scared. Is there a need to take permission to carry out the PM's call? It's embarrassing,” the BJP leader told ANI.

The police had reportedly stopped the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' bike rally led by the BJP leader in Nandigram earlier in the day for not having the requisite permission.
“Bike rally cannot be carried out, the permission is only for 'Padayatra'. They don't have the police permission for a bike rally,” Additional Superintendent of Police Haldia Shraddha N Pandey said.
