
"Not My Money": Sacked Bengal Minister On Cash Mountain At Aide's Homes

The Enforcement Directorate has seized around Rs 50 crore cash from two homes belonging to Partha Chatterjee's aide Arpita Mukherjee, during raids in connection with a school jobs scam.
Days after crores in cash was seized from his aide's homes, sacked Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee today claimed the money did not belong to him.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) seized around Rs 50 crore cash from two homes belonging to Mr Chatterjee's aide Arpita Mukherjee, during raids in connection with a school jobs scam. Both were arrested earlier this month.
The former minister, now suspended by his party, was accosted by reporters today when he was brought to the ESI hospital in Kolkata for medical examination.
In a two line reply to their multiple queries, including who is conspiring against him, Mr Chatterjee said they will get to know everything when the time comes.
