Provincial police say they caught two impaired drivers in the same northwestern Ontario township within minutes of each other after they left the same bar.
On April 7 at about 1:15 a.m., members of Rainy River District Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were on general patrol.
“Officers located two impaired drivers within two minutes of each other in the Town of Fort Frances,” said police in a social media post.
“Police determined both parties had been consuming alcoholic beverages at the same establishment.”
Police officials told CTV News in a phone brief interview that both vehicles involved were impounded by the OPP and both drivers received a 90-day administrative driver's licence suspension.
