David Hollars of South Carolina is charged with trafficking and assaulting a 15-year-old girl whom he met on Snapchat. He is apparently a former North Carolina trooper.
"This is an incredibly disturbing case," Charleston County Sheriff Kristin Graziano said in a Wednesday statement. Graziano added that authorities have made themselves available to the victim and her family "as she begins her recovery from this trauma."
