Non-ticketholders need to confirm their stay in Qatar by booking an accommodation through the Qatar Accommodation Agency (QAA), or through another platform, to receive final approval on a Hayya Card. They can also choose the Visit on a Matchday option if coming for 24 hours. In an email sent to ticketholders, the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) reminded them that non-ticketed fans can come to Qatar from December 2, as was announced recently. The SC also urged ticketholders to share the details with family and friends. "This allows non-ticketholders to join friends, family, and other fans in Qatar to enjoy the unique tournament atmosphere – as well as over 90 incredible events and attractions across the country," the SC said. Non-ticketholders will need to apply for the Hayya Card to access Qatar from December 2. This is an entry permit, a pass for free public transport (up to December 23) and a host of other benefits. To apply, non-ticketholders need to go to Qatar2022.qa/Hayya and select Non-Match Ticket Holder under the Applicant Category. Once approved, a fee of QR500 applies. This is waived for applicants under 12 years old. To receive final approval on a Hayya Card, non-ticketholders need to confirm their stay in Qatar by: * Option 1 – Booking through the Qatar Accommodation Agency The official accommodation agency for the tournament offers the widest range of options. These include hotels, apartments & villas, Fan Villages, cruise ship hotels and holiday homes. * Option 2 – Visiting for 24 hours. They will register for this by selecting Visit on a Matchday on Qatar2022.qa/Hayya or by using the 'Hayya to Qatar 2022' app. * Option 3 – Confirming a booking with another platform. They will use the Upload Other Platforms Booking option, via Hayya.
