Nokia Solo Bud+ to bring back mono headset trend, launch soon
India Today
Nokia Solo Bud+ will be a different kind of wireless headset in the sea of TWS earbuds.
A new Nokia wireless headset may be in the works and it may be called the Nokia Solo Bud+. But the Solo Bud+ may not be your regular TWS earbuds. According to the images that have surfaced in an FCC listing, Nokia Solo Bud+ may be a Bluetooth mono headset that is aimed at business-class people. The mono headset is just for one ear, facilitating a hassle-free call experience. It used to be popular before truly wireless earbuds became mainstream, and Nokia may be planning to bring it back. The Nokia Solo Bud+ cropped up on the US FCC website a few days back and now it has also received the Bluetooth SIG certification. These two instances definitely mean the new mono headset exists and its launch is imminent. The Bluetooth SIG website has confirmed that the new Nokia Solo Bud+ is manufactured by Sky Wing Communications-Electronics, which means it has procured the license for Nokia-branded accessories. This also means HMD has nothing to do with the Nokia Solo Bud+, the model number of which is SB-201 and supports Bluetooth 5.0. The FCC documents, however, talk about the design and build quality of the Nokia Solo Bud+. The mono headset seems made of plastic and has an ear hook that uses clear plastic. There is a button at the top that supports multiple functions, such as accepting, ending, and rejecting calls, as well as music playback control. The volume buttons are on the side. In addition, the volume buttons will allow changing tracks, depending on how long you press the buttons.More Related News
