Noida: Two children charred to death, one injured while sitting near bonfire

Three children were sitting near a bonfire. But, in no time, Prachi’s woollen clothes (one among the three children) caught fire, following which the other two children tried to save her and, in the process, injured themselves.
Bonfires, to which people usually resort for comfort during the winter season, triggered a tragic incident in Gejha village of Noida where two children died and one more was left severely injured while sitting near a bonfire due to cold weather conditions.
According to a report published in the Hindustan Times (HT), the incident took place on Thursday evening, when the trio was sitting near a bonfire. But, in no time, Prachi’s woollen clothes (one among the three children) caught fire, following which the other two children tried to save her and, in the process, injured themselves.
