More than 200 beds were vacated across hospitals in the district on Friday after they were found to be occupied by patients who did not need them.
The District Magistrate(DM) and Chief Medical Officer(CMO) of Noida inspected various city hospitals and freed up nearly 200 Covid beds that were occupied by patients who actually didn't require hospitalisation. These beds are now free for those in need. Beds were freed in GIMS, Yatharth, Kailash, Sharda, JayPee, Fortis, Prakash, Sector 39 Covid hospital, Indogulf, JR hospital, SRS hospital, Surya, and Metro Hospital. Several people have been found occupying beds in private hospitals of Noida and Greater Noida without being in need for them, the Gautam Buddh Nagar administration said on Friday, indicating action against such health facilities.More Related News
