Some hospitals in Noida were compelled to refund money after a notice was issued by the administration over allegations of overcharging.
Some hospitals in Noida refunded money to Covid patients after the administration issued notices to a few of them over allegations of overcharging. Some hospitals refunded as much as Rs 5 lakh to various Covid patients. The action came days after Greater Noida (Jewar) MLA Dhirendra Singh shot a letter against overcharging by private hospitals to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and also asked the Chief Minister's Office to take action on such complaints. The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Gautambuddha Nagar, Deepak Ohri confirmed that all complaints of overcharging against the private hospitals are being checked.More Related News
