Noida Authority to set up 10 winter night shelters for homeless

These winter night shelters will be set up for the poor, needy and homeless, keeping in mind all the Covid safety protocols amid rising concerns of Omicron.

As cold wave conditions are likely to intensify in the coming days, the Noida Authority has begun the process of setting up ten night shelters in the city. These night shelters will be set up for the poor, needy and homeless, keeping in mind all the Covid safety protocols amid rising concerns of Omicron.

According to a report published in the Times of India (TOI), two night shelters have already been set up in the city. One is located in the community centre of Sector 135 and another at Noida stadium in Sector 21A.
