Noida: 39-year-old woman arrested for hiring contract killers to murder male friend

A 39-year-old woman was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly plotting murder and hiring contract killers to murder her male friend.
The Noida police on Tuesday arrested a 39-year-old woman from Zero Point on the Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida for allegedly hiring two contract killers to murder her male friend. Officials said that the woman was arrested when she was waiting to meet the two hired shooters for killing her male friend in Jaunpur. Police have also seized a country-made gun from her possession.
According to a report published in the Hindustan Times (HT), the accused is a resident of the Raj Nagar Extension in Ghaziabad. A case has been registered against her under Sections 3 and 25 of the Arms Act. Meanwhile, both the shooters have been booked for criminal conspiracy under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) Section 120-B.
