A large number of brick kiln workers gathered at the Moradabad Junction railway station in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday night, as they decided to leave the city due to lack of work. Migrant workers from Kanth and other tehsils assembled at the Moradabad Junction station to return to their villages as inclement weather conditions put a halt on brick kiln operations. "Due to rains there is no work here, that's why they are returning to their hometowns in Bhagalpur, Bihar," Ashish, a brick kiln owner, told ANI UP.
