The Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday said iron nails were studded on roads at farmer protest sites on Delhi's border points to prevent a repeat of the violence that rocked the national capital on Republic Day. In a written reply in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy said Delhi Police had informed that no road had been dug up at the city's borders in view of the farmers agitation. "The barricades at the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border were strengthened to prevent any possible repeat of the conduct displayed on January 26," Reddy said.More Related News
