India’s Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Thursday revised its guidelines for international arrivals including the removal of Covid-19 RT PCR test before boarding for fully vaccinated passengers from 82 countries including Qatar starting Monday, February 14.
As per the new guidelines, passengers need to upload their certificate of full primary vaccination before the scheduled travel on the Air Suvidha portal.
This is the biggest relaxation for international arrivals to India since Covid.
“Thermal screening would be carried out in respect of all passengers.. passengers found symptomatic during screening shall be immediately isolated and taken to medical facility as per health protocol. If tested positive, their contacts shall be identified and managed as per laid down protocol,” according to the revised guidelines.
