The BJP is the only national party in the country today and no other party has the capacity to fight against it, said JP Nadda.
BJP national president JP Nadda claimed that there is not even a single party who can fight against BJP at the national level as it is the only national party left in the country.
Nadda, while speaking on the sidelines of the two-day national executive meeting, took a dig at the Congress and said that it was the party of "bhai and behen".
He further said that the regional parties, including Lalu Prasad's RJD in Bihar, Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh, Shiv Sena and NCP in Maharashtra, Biju Janata Dal in Odisha, YSR Congress, TRS and other family parties in Tamil Nadu are either finished or on the verge of being finished in politics.
"Only the BJP will remain relevant in politics as it was the only party based on ideology. The party of brother and sister and all other family parties are either finished or will be finished soon. Congress is almost finished in all the states in the country. No national party has the capacity to fight BJP", JP Nadda said.
During the national executive meeting, it was also decided that the party will be contesting the 2024 Lok Sabha elections under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In connection with Bihar, the BJP declared that it will be fighting 2024 Lok Sabha elections as well as 2025 assembly elections in the state in alliance with Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal (United).
