No more monkey business: Thieves who used animals to rob people in Delhi arrested

The Delhi Police has arrested two thieves who used to rob people in broad daylight using monkeys.
A few days ago a Delhi Police PCR received a peculiar call. On the other end of the call was an advocate who claimed that he was robbed by three thieves using monkeys. The advocate told the police that three men threatened him using monkeys and robbed him of Rs 6,000. The incident took place in Delhi’s Khirki Extension area, he said. The peculiar nature of the crime made Delhi Police spring up in action. In the following days, a dedicated team of cops scanned area’s CCTV footages, activated informants and deployed sources. Based on tip-offs, several raids were conducted. The culprits were finally nabbed on Thursday when the investigating team received a tip that the two of three men were spotted with monkeys at Chirag Delhi Bus Stand.More Related News
