It further said that the prevalence of corona has not yet decreased and the number of patients in the state as well as in big cities are on the rise again. Therefore, considering the situation, it is necessary to celebrate Mahashivratri on Thursday in a very simple manner this year. As per the guidelines, the devotees have been asked to perform puja at home and also asked the temple managers to facilitate online darshan.
