No consensus was reached between the Haryana government and Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) on the farmers' issues after the two sides held talks on Friday.
Talks between the Haryana government and Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) failed on Friday after no consensus was reached between the two sides over the demands by farmers.
The meeting, which started at 5 pm in Chandigarh, went on for four hours. Issues related to withdrawal of cases registered against farmers, compensation for those who died in the movement, construction of memorial sites and providing jobs to the kin of deceased farmers were discussed.
