No Common entrance test for all varsities this year: UGC

The University Grants Commission has announced that there will no common entrance exams for all varsities this year due to the Covid-19 pondemic.

University Grants Commission on Sunday released a press note stating that “There will be no common entrance test for admission to undergraduate courses in all the Central Universities of the country including the Delhi University in the upcoming academic year.” In view of prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, admission process in Central Universities during Acad Session 2021-22, may continue as per past practice.Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) may be implemented from Acad Session 2022-23. @dpradhanbjp @EduMinOfIndia @PIBHRD Universities will continue to give admission as they did in the previous years, the higher education sector regulator said.
