Party sources have denied any power tussle over the Chief Minister post, adding that the BJP leadership is planning a coordinated swearing-in ceremony for the chief ministers of the four states.
Goa Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai has summoned the session of the state legislative Assembly on Tuesday for new MLAs to take oath even as the BJP is yet to declare the Chief Ministerial face.
Party sources have denied any power tussle over the chief minister post, adding that the Central leadership is planning a coordinated swearing-in ceremony for the four states.
The BJP is set to form the government for the third consecutive term after emerging as the single largest party in the state. The party has gained the support of key Goa player Maharashtra Gomantak Party or MGP and three independent MLAs.
According to sources, the state BJP leaders will meet the Governor and stake claim for the government formation today.
