Senior Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan said no action was taken against seven MLAs who cross-voted in Maharashtra MLA elections.
Senior Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan on Friday said that the party did not take any action against seven MLAs who cross-voted for the BJP in Maharashtra MLA elections, which led to the defeat of its candidate Chandrakant Handore.
Prithviraj Chavan questioned as to why the party hadn't taken any action and who supported them.
Speaking about Ghulam Nabi Azad's exit and the reactions to his exit, Chavan claimed that Ashok Gehlot's statement was a wrong way of attacking a senior leader.

Gehlot had said that no one had expected that someone who was never kept without an office by the Congress for 42 years would say such things about the party.
Prithviraj Chavan also called for ending the sychophancy culture within the Congress and demanded internal party elections at the earliest.
